Peer Reviewer Process

Advanced Studies in Multidisciplinary Research implements a double-blind peer-review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure objectivity and integrity throughout the evaluation process.

Each submitted manuscript will undergo the following stages:

1. Initial Screening

The editor will conduct an initial screening of the manuscript to ensure its suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, as well as the completeness of administrative requirements. At this stage, plagiarism screening will also be conducted using relevant plagiarism detection software.

2. Editorial Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be evaluated by the editor based on their basic quality, novelty, and scientific contribution. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s standards may be rejected without proceeding to the peer-review stage.

3. Peer Review Process

The manuscript will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area.

Reviewers will evaluate:

  • Originality and novelty of the research

  • Appropriateness of the methodology

  • Clarity of analysis and discussion

  • Contribution to the advancement of knowledge

4. Review Decision

Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

  • Accepted without revision

  • Accepted with minor revisions

  • Accepted with major revisions

  • Rejected

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments within the specified timeframe.

5. Revision and Re-evaluation

Revised manuscripts will be re-evaluated by the editor and/or reviewers to ensure that all required improvements have been properly addressed.

6. Final Decision

The editor will make the final publication decision based on the overall evaluation results. The editor’s decision is final.

7. Copyediting and Publication

Accepted manuscripts will undergo copyediting, layout editing, and proofreading before being published online.

Review Timeline

The average review process takes approximately 2–4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the manuscript and the availability of reviewers.
